sync. specializes in seamless, AI-powered lip sync that automatically aligns spoken audio with on-screen lip movements. Whether you’re localizing content, adding a voiceover, or just enhancing your storytelling, sync. makes the entire process effortless, with accuracy that looks natural and professional.

At Kapwing, we first heard of sync. as a company founded by the original team behind Wav2Lip, the first zero shot lip syncing libraries released to the open source community. When we learned that sync. was launching APIs for commercial use,  we were immediately excited about the applications of their technology for video creators.

Our team first started working with sync. when we developed our dubbing features in early 2024, finding their lip sync technology to be the most robust compared to other vendors. While other solutions worked well only in certain situations, sync. was able to sync the lips of a diverse set of speakers from different angles and distances from the camera. Thousands of users on Kapwing have used sync.’s technology through our dubbing tools since our original launch.

Since then, we’ve looked for other opportunities to bring this technology to creators. When we came up with the idea for AI Personas, we knew sync. would be a good partner to help bring this to life. Now, creators can turn a single short video into an unlimited number of social-media ready video content, in just a few clicks.
