In 2022, Influencer Marketing Hub analyzed more than 100,000 short-form video posts, looking at their unique engagement rates. According to them, these are the best times to post an Instagram Reel, all in Eastern Standard Time hours:
Monday: 6 a.m., 10 a.m., 10 p.m
Tuesday: 2 a.m., 4 a.m., 9 a.m.
Wednesday: 7 a.m., 8 a.m., 11 p.m.
Thursday: 9 a.m., 12 p.m., 7 p.m.
Friday: 5 a.m. 1 p.m., 3 p.m.
Saturday: 11 a.m., 7 p.m., 8 p.m.
Sunday: 7 a.m., 8 a.m., 4 p.m.

Create a Professional Instagram Account (Also Known as a Business or Creator Account)
The first thing to do is make sure you’re using a professional Instagram account, as opposed to a personal one. Switching over unlocks analytics tools and other features that will give deeper insights into your audience and post performance. These used to be called a business or creator account.
